Peeling of skin

Glycolic Acid peel is the most active and beneficial of the Alpha-Hydroxy-Acids (AHA) in skin care and is made from sugar canes. It is the only AHA which is able to penetrate through the cell walls by virtue of its small molecular size. There are several advantages of glycolic peel, like improved acne, large pores, pigmentation etc. It also lightens age spots and fine lines, giving you younger looking skin.

4-6 peels at weekly intervals are recommended for noticeable improvements. More or less may be required depending on the condition being treated. There are no such side effects of glycolic peel, but you might feel a burning sensation on your skin, which will go if you moisturise your skin properly. The redness after the treatment also goes in a few hours. These side effects are usually seen in people who have very sensitive skin. Your skin tends to be a little sensitive to the sun after the treatment, so you are always recommended to apply sun block after the treatment. These side effects are just temporary, and do not have any discomfort as such. You can get back to your original lifestyle soon after getting the treatment done.

At ISAAC, we check the skin condition and understand your requirement during your consultation. Post that, we give you the treatment plan and start the sessions accordingly.
